Hashers met at Doukissis Plakentias metro station to board the bus at 9.30 am

Alighting from the bus near the start point (the bus could not cross the narrow bridge)

Crossing the sinking bridge to get to the starting point

The centre section of the bridge lowers to the bottom of the canal to allow ships to pass through

Part of the Diolkos ancient pathway that was used to drag ships across the Istmus of Corinth.
The ships were dragged 6.4 kilometers by a team of slaves. Amazing!
