Since the fire, the Broom has been spreading along the mountain roads and over the mountainside and is in full blossom.

Coming from Athens
Get on Leof Pendelis (the road which goes up to Pendeli Village)
Ignore signs left to NEA Pendeli and carry on up the road up to Pendeli
Eventually you come to (Paleio) Pendeli village
Follow the road through the village (do not take the first few turnings to the right)
Eventually you will come to a large open area (many tavernas here - particularly on the far side)
Look for a road (Skoufou) to the right signposted to Nea Makri
Follow this road out of the village
As you leave Pendeli you pass a sign on your left for the Christos-Olympia taverna
(light blue-green with pic of mountains)
You are now on the mountain road to Aghios Petros (The Panorama restaurant).
*Pass the KARDIA picnic area on your left,
*pass a large parking on your right,
*soon on your left you will see a small shaded place on a corner with a spring fountain,
*about 50 metres after this on your right look out for the HARE & Hasher's cars in a parking area.
If you reach the Panorama restaurant you have gone way too far !
Coming from Ekali etc
Take the Dionysous - Nea Makri Road
Pass the Dionysous Taverna, German Cemetery etc
Turn right at Aghios Petros (The Panorama restaurant)
Look out for the HARE & Hasher's cars on a parking area on the LEFT - along the mountain road to Pendeli village
If you reach the Paleio Pendeli platia you have gone too far.
Coming from along the coast road
At Nea Makri take the road signposted to Dionysous
Go up this road for several Km
You come to Aghios Petros (& the Panorama restaurant)
At this junction take the road LEFT
Look out for the HARE & Hasher's cars on a parking area on the LEFT - along the mountain road to Pendeli village
If you reach the Paleio Pendeli platia you have gone too far.
