Take
the Attiki Odos as if going to the Airport
Follow the signs to Markopoulou
ie do NOT take the turn off right to the airport
Continue along this road towards Markopoulou (& Lavrion)
After 2km go straight on at the traffic lights (next to Media Strom)
200m later pass LIDL and another 2km turn left at the traffic lights
(signposted for “Olympic Equestrian Centre & Racetrack”)
Turn left here as if going to the Equestrian Centre and Racetrack
Follow the racetrack road for 2km until a junction with traffic lights
Turn RIGHT at this junction and follow this small road for 6.6km
After 6.6km you come to a stop sign and a T junction
Take the (very sharp) left turn left here as if going to Porto Rafti
We will meet about 2km along or just off this road
This is near the Metamorphosis Sotiris Monastery
LOOK OUT FOR CARDBOARD SIGNS marked “HHH”
Follow these signs to the parking place
(Which turned out to be at: 37.838211, 24.007219)
Coming
from the South (eg Glyfada, Vari, Voula etc)
Take the Vari-Koropi-Markopoulou Road
ie turn right at Koropi for Markopoulou
You come to the junction by Media Strom on the Lavrion Rd
Turn right here towards Lavrion and follow directions as above
